“The polygraph says… YOU’RE A DAMN LIAR!”
The 60 Minute Adrenaline Rush is back, as are the boys! We’re back to 2006 TNA, where things are looking up for the six-sided brand. Kurt Angle has just left the WWE and is on his way in, but before we can figure out what the plans are for him, TNA looks ahead to it’s next PPV, No Surrender, as well as their biggest event of the year, Bound For Glory.
Jeff Jarrett, once again, has been a controversial figure here in TNA, especially as the reigning NWA World Heavyweight Champion. Jim Cornette knows that Jarrett has been behind all of the recent shady situations surrounding him regaining or retaining the NWA World Championship. Like when Earl Hebner helped him win the title, or when Christian smashed Sting with a guitar in his last defense to help him retain. What about Larry Zbyszko’s involvement, with him being on the championship committee?
Jarrett swears that all of these are coincidences, and even agrees to a polygraph test to find out if he’s telling the truth. Cornette wasn’t going to let that opportunity go, so here tonight, Jeff Jarrett will be connected to a lie detector test and asked about all of these incidents. Thankfully, Jeff has some help, as “Showtime” Eric Young has an Uncle from Canada that has never failed a polygraph test, and Eric is going to show Jarrett how to beat this one.
LAX, Homicide & Hernandez, recently won the NWA World Tag Team Championships from America’s Most Wanted, and are here to murder The Mack Brothers to show just how dominant they are, as they prepare for the first ever Ultimate X Tag Team Championship Match at No Surrender against AJ Styles & Christopher Daniels.
Speaking of America’s Most Wanted, Chris Harris & James Storm have been having communication problems as of late, which lead to them losing the tag titles. Tonight, they’ll team up with Kazarian & Maverick Matt Bentley to take on The James Gang (BG & Kip James), Norman Smiley, & Shark Boy.
In the main event, we get a special challenge match against two guys that have been recently at odds, as Christian Cage steps into the ring with Ron “The Truth” Killings. Also, we hear from Shane Douglas & his “Newly Franchised” Naturals, Chase Stevens & Andy Douglas. Plus, The X-Division loves Jackass Number Two!
